iTunes 12 Movie Artwork

Its taken some perseverance, but having taken the plunge and gone down the route of a NAS and starting to rip the DVD collection via handbrake on to it the latest update on to iTunes 12 had started to frustrate me!

For some reason, after importing in to iTunes I ended up with screen caps of the films that I’d just imported even after trying to add album artwork as below;

The long and short hold down the option key (alt key) when selecting “Get Info” after right clicking on the film and the old iTunes 12 window appears – add your artwork and voila, sanity restored;

Wifi Antennas

We’ve all been there, how to get the best possible wifi signal at home. Have a run through of this lifehacker post to give some handy hints and tips.

There are many different ideas out there on how best to manage your inbox emails with different solutions and methods suggested. To be honest though I’ve found the best solution is to get the email client right and with this news about the Mailbox App being released shortly for the Mac was a welcome one.

I’m not going to sell it, but will say that once you’ve given it a go (unfortunately on gmail and iCloud are currently supported) you will probably be hooked. I’m running on both the iPhone and iPad and much prefer over the native mail app. Give it a try and see what you think and if you like tell a friend or three, if you have that many!

“I know what you’re thinking. ‘Did he fire six shots or only five’? Well to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I kind of lost track myself. But being that this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well do ya, punk?”

After long deliberations between either an underwater case for the G12 or a new camera for some underwater pictures, the GoPro was the preferred choice.

As with anything new there is always some occasional scepticism, but once out of the box (and its tiny!), the GoPro is amazing as can be seen from some of the shots below in the pool. There is a little bit of post processing in Lightroom to get the colours as you’d like but the results speak for themselves.

Most importantly too, Scarlett is now able to swim unaided from one side of the pool to the other! There’s no stopping her now or the GoPro either
